創始者で現当主のジュリアン・テンパリー氏は、父が所有するバロウヒルの73haの畑を継承し、会社を設立後、英国初の完全なリンゴ酒の蒸留免許を取得。収穫、洗浄を経て発酵させたのち、澱引きをして蒸留しフレンチオークにて5年熟成。メローな甘み、じわじわとドライでほろ苦いフィニッシュ(辛口)
